An important task is to ensure that all recipients of We Effect funding – partner organisations or otherwise – are knowledgeable of and adhere to We Effect, Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida) and other donor specific regulations. Another task is that you will play an important role in developing competitive budgets in applications and make sure application requirements are met.
We Effect Southern Africa consists of four countries with programmes in Zambia, Zimbabwe, Mozambique and Malawi. We Effect employs around 65 members of staff and the regional budget for 2018 is approximately USD 11 million.

As a member of the Regional Management Team, the Regional Financial Controller shall actively contribute to the work and goals of the management teams.
The duty station for this position is at the regional office in Lusaka, Zambia. You will travel frequently in the region and to our head office in Stockholm. As Regional Financial Controller you report to the Regional Director at the regional office in Lusaka.
The employment contract is two years (with the possibility of prolongation) and begins with a 6-months probationary period. This will be a non-family stay. The contract starts as soon as possible.Read more and apply
